The 2024 Indonesian MotoGP is poised to take place in a regency of the Indonesian Province of West Nusa Tenggara called Central Lombok on 29 September.
What to know about the Indonesian MotoGP
Established in 1996, the Indonesian MotoGP was dropped from the MotoGP calendar in 1998 as a response to the 1997 Asian financial crisis.
The race made its return to the MotoGP calendar in 2022 and Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit remains the home of the Indonesian MotoGP.

The Emilia Romagna MotoGP, which was the 14th round on the 2024 MotoGP World Championship calendar, took place on 22 September.
The race was won by Ducati rider Enea Bastianini, while his manufacturer teammates Jorge Martin and Marc Marquez finished second and third respectively.
Standings
Martin is still placed at the top of the 2024 MotoGP riders' standings, followed by Bagnaia and Marc Marquez respectively.
Looking at the constructors' standings, Ducati are placed at the top, followed by KTM and Aprilia, as the battle for the 2024 championship continues.
Favourites
All eyes will be on Bastianini, Bagnaia, Martin and Marc Marquez once again as they battle to be crowned champion at the Indonesian MotoGP.
Miguel Oliveira of Aprilia won the 2022 Indonesian MotoGP and he will be hoping to become the first rider to win the race twice.
